Formed in 1975 as manufacturers of precision systems for the coating, laminating and converting industries, Delpro has built on its experience and expanded its product range to include the design and manufacture of pre-preg machines and other composite material processing equipment. This has led to the company’s products now to be found as part of production lines of a number of leading European renewable energy manufacturers.

Specialist equipment for the composite industry includes reel stands that have a splice facility and accumulators for fabric and textile applications; precision knife-over-roll and reverse-roll coaters for high viscosity coatings and resins as used in the manufacture of composite fibres and reinforced plastics and laminating/gauging nips with servo-controlled gap setting.

All Delpro equipment is available for inclusion in original machinery installations or for retrofit to existing plant to improve efficiency. Highly qualified staff, most of whom have been trained through an apprenticeship scheme within the company, personally engineer a project from concept and design through to commissioning.
